We Also Wrote A Song - Dave Does Eurovision

If Australia can enter the Eurovision when they’re not in Europe, then why can’t a tv Channel? That’s the simple concept behind this super fun music video.

When the good folks at Dave asked me direct their alternative Eurovision entry I nearly bit their hands off. The results speak for themselves - our answer to Mae Muller’s official Eurovision entry - “I Wrote A Song”

How we pulled this off in one ten hour day I’ll never know, but the crew banded together and made it happen. Somehow, in spite of the pressure and time constraints, I count this as among my favourite ever shooting experiences (I’ve never laughed so much) and am very proud of the results. Now if only Dave’s charter hadn’t been denied!
